Under section 16 of Gov. Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-77 issued May 7, 2020, “neither a place of religious worship nor its owner is subject to penalty under section 20 of this order for allowing religious worship at such place. No individual is subject to penalty under section 20 of this order for engaging in or traveling to engage in religious worship at a place of religious worship, or for violating section 15(a) [relating to the wearing of a mask in an enclosed space] of this order.”
After prayer and careful consideration, we have decided to safely open our church for our 10:30 AM morning worship service beginning May 31 to allow those that can and have a desire to attend. We will implement social distancing practices at the church and ask that those attending still practice social distancing and follow CDC guidelines.
If you are sick, elderly, or have a compromised immune system, we ask that you do not attend the in-person services. If you are unable to attend or feel more comfortable worshiping with us from home, you can watch an audio/visual recording of the service on our website later in the day.
We will not offer any nursery or child care services.
Unfortunately, due to the recent flooding in Albright Shores and the surrounding areas, Estey Road east of the church at the Albright Shores bridge and M-30 at Stryker’s Marina near Edenville are both impassable. You will need to seek an alternate route and allow for a lengthier commute.
